TO GATHER FESTIVAL 2026

After three magical editions... To Gather Festival is happening again! A fresh new organisation team has come together, and we're buzzing with ideas, dreams, and lots of excitement!
Alright alright, but what about the practical stuff? Dates, location, contribution, sign-up..?
Well you'll find it all right here!

DATES 2026

To Gather always takes place around Midsummer night to celebrate the longest day of the year together. That means that this year To Gather will be from 17 to 21st of June! As To Gather is about creating a community, we ask everyone to enjoy the full experience and be there from the start. So take those days off, block your calendar and join us on the 17th of June!

Wednesday 17th of June

It all starts! We will build up the festival together during the day. Think of building constructions, decorating, setting up the kitchen, etc. In the evening we will officially open the festival and celebrate our creations!

('early creators' can possibly arrive the day before)

Thursday - Saturday 18-20 June

These days will be created by... you! Workshops, activities, music, dips into the pond, games, sauna, campfires, an open mic... Read more about how the programme will be created at 'Our concept'

Sunday 21st of June

After four days of surprise... It's time to go back to our own realities and integrate the experience. We'll take all creations down again, celebrate our experiences, and say goodbye. After a closing ceremony, everyone will find their way back to the inhabited world.

LOCATION

This year we will return to the beautiful ecological community De Vlierhof, just over the border close to Nijmegen. A residential community surrounded by a large green area that clearly has a lot of love and attention put into it. A playground (with trampoline!), swimming pond with sauna, a labyrinth, countless seating areas hidden by greenery, a beautiful large camping field, oh yes and did we already mention: a PLAYGROUND?

CONTRIBUTION

The vision of To Gather is to be a place for all types of people; no matter background, culture, age, interests, lifestyle... ánd no matter how deep their pockets are. However, as much as we would love to create this festival on sunshine and enthusiasm alone, reality is that costs sneak in.

To make To Gather happen, we ask you for a financial contribution. And since we want to stay small and intimate, those contributions are a bit higher than we'd love them to be. However, we offer a sliding scale for your contribution so you can choose an amount that fits both your wallet ánd the realisation of To Gather best.

We’re already exploring funding options for the future, but this year we’ll have to make it work without any external support. If you have ideas, tips, or magical funding wisdom to share, we’d love to hear from you!

*All contributions include camping and (mostly) organic meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Small Wallet Contribution

€ 275€275-325  ( = 55 per day)

For those with a little less to spend but a big desire to join the fun. This option is below cost price, so we trust you to choose it with care.

True Contribution

€ 325 ( = 65 per day)

This contribution reflects the true cost of creating To Gather. By choosing this, you help us break even and keep the festival sustainable.

Support Contribution

> € 325

By paying more than the cost price, you help cover the cost for someone with fewer financial resources. You’re not just joining To Gather, you’re making it possible for someone else to be there too.

We trust that you can make a well-considered choice that best fits your and others' situation.
Afterwards we will make our finances transparent, so you can see where the money went. In this way we hope to contribute to an inclusive culture in which a new relationship with money can arise.

FAQ

What is the food situation? Do you take allergies into consideration?

All food and drinks provided by the festival will be vegan, in alignment with our ecological values. However, we are an inclusive event, so if you prefer to eat animal products, feel free to bring your own!

We also take food allergies into account, which can be communicated through the registration form.

Can I also come if I don't want to give a workshop or activity?

Absolutely! Receiving and participating is just as important, as anything shared only gets value when it is being received. There is a role for everyone in the community. Maybe leading a workshop isn't your thing (never say never though! ;)), but perhaps you'd enjoy helping with cooking, lighting the campfire, or building benches on the grounds.

Do I have to stay the full 5 days?

As we care about creating a community, we encourage everyone to be there from the start. So take those days off, block your calender and join us from the beginning on Wednesday morning! If you can not do that, you would still be very welcome to join on Wednesday evening. In the light of community building, we don't want new faces to arrive later. We hope you understand.

We do have a fixed price, regardless of your length of stay. If money is an obstacle for you, please let us know at togatherfestival@gmail.com.

How about accommodation? Can I come with a camper?

You can stay on the site with your own tent. If you want to come with a camper, you need to book an extra camper ticket. Our location (the Vlierhof) is a natural campsite and they don't want too many campers on their land, to protect the soil. As a compensation, they ask €35 for a camper for the 4 nights of the festival. You have to book & pay your camper spot in advance, you can do so by sending us an email at togatherfestival@gmail.com. There are only limited places available!

What about alcohol, drugs and smoking?

We approach alcohol in a conscious way. The idea is that you are free to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine, but that you are aware of your own limits, and your use doesn't hinder others, or your ability to connect with yourself and your surroundings. We will not sell alcohol at the bar, but you are free to bring some yourself. Regarding drugs, we are a drug-free event. Smoking can be done in selected smoking areas.

Can I come with my kid(s)?

We are not a children focused festival, in the sense that we do not provide any special entertainment or programming for children. But yes, kids are welcome! If anything, we might learn or get inspired by their presence! Please note that we do not take any responsibility or liability for children. If you want to bring your kid(s), let us know through togatherfestival@gmail.com.

Do I need to speak Dutch?

At To Gather we value diversity and strive to be welcoming to everyone feeling a connection to the concept. Even though some of our communication is in Dutch, the main community events during the festival (such as the opening circles in the morning) will be held in English. The language of the workshops get decided by the workshop-givers, though we have full trust it will be no problem to find a language that everyone understands.
